Dobby Stitch Woven - French Grey

I knew I wanted to try some of the Sprout, Dobby and Top Stitch woven fabrics as soon as I saw them. My plan was to use to them to make colour block summer tops. But when saw the texture i know that I wanted to add a few pieces of these wovens into my scrappy pieced fabric products. The fabric is a bit lighter weight than quilting cotton but the weave is tight enough you don’t have to worry too much about your batting bearding through the fabric. The texture and colours are stunning. Now I know why I see them used so often in quilting. I still plan on making the tops… soon.
